We do not intentionally collect unrelated browsing history.

3. AI Processing
Task-related text, prompts, and user-submitted content may be securely processed using artificial intelligence services operated by Task Clarity backend infrastructure.
Such processing is used only to generate task analysis, recommendations, and clarity suggestions.
We aim to minimize retention of task content and do not intentionally store submitted task content longer than necessary for service operation.
4. Payments
Payments and subscriptions are processed by Polar.
We do not store full payment card details on our systems.
Payment information is handled in accordance with the payment provider’s own privacy and security policies.
5. Data Storage
User account data may be stored on secure servers located in Germany or other regions used by our infrastructure providers.
Some processing and caching may occur locally on the client device, including browser extension storage.
6. Browser Extension Permissions
If you use the Task Clarity browser extension, the extension may access:
- active page content on supported domains
- task-related text visible on current pages
- browser storage for local settings and session state
- authentication cookies required for secure login
This access is limited strictly to providing the intended functionality of the extension.
The extension does not access unrelated browsing activity.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent user data.
We may share limited data only:
- with payment providers for billing
- with infrastructure or AI service providers strictly for service delivery
- when required by law or legal process
8. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including:
- encrypted password storage
- HTTPS / secure communication
- authenticated session protection
- restricted backend access controls
However, no system can be guaranteed to be fully secure.
